I am going to laydown my State President’s Office on December 10th -2011. I had hectic activity; rememberable events; mind blasting meetings; arguments and counter arguments; brain teasing problems; Great hospitality; Proudful events; Friendly atmosphere; brother and sisterly affection; caring for the welfare and good health of every one and enjoyable and talent exhibiting musical and sports events.

     I am happy that many branches are active and carrying out CMC Programmes and Public welfare and awareness programmes well.

     My Special appreciation to all the Branches for observing Anti Quackery Day and creating awareness about the menace of Quackery in the mind of the people.

     All wings and Schemes of IMA-TNSB are functioning well. Their activities are excellent. They all function with a sense of commitment and dedication.

     Thanks to Dr.Raja and Dr.Nancy for their efficient organizing capacity for successfully conducting Zonal Sports and Music Competitions.

     Research wing under Chairmanship of Dr.S.S.Sukumar is active and they organized a wonderful programme at Erode “How to write a Scientific Paper” well attended by members and Medical Students Thanks to Dr.Eswaramoorthy, Dr.Abul Hassan and their team.

     “ Think Pink Day ” and “ Palliative Care” Programme organized by Vellore IMA is a memorable event. Brest Cancer awareness programme was organized at the ladies college, Vellore and was well attended and highly educative for the young ladies and I could sense how much the speakers have kindled the mind of the students. From the interactive session “Quodos” to Dr.Manilango, Dr.Ravichandran, Dr.Sathishkumar, Dr.Maheswaran, and Dr.Malarvizhi for their excellent lectures. Myself delivered the introductory speech.

     On 29th October I attended the CGP National Convention at Chennai which went off with colorful inaugural function and good educative programmes and with purposeful expectations.

     On the same evening I attended as Chief Guest to “Care” pain management programme at Chennai organized by Amrutanjan Company. Prof.S.Thanikachalam and Prof.Anaesthesia from Madurai Medical College took part in it. Care is planning to start “Hands on training programme” of various pain ablation programme.
